SIMON KING - Cambridgeshire locality general manager said:

'The local community of Ely is served by a proud and clinically capable team of ambulance staff and volunteers.  As a result, we are proud to offer the highest standards of clinical care - through this combined community delivery of pre-hospital care.  I have found the staff and volunteers in the Ely area to be thoroughly professional in the delivery of care to their community and determined to serve those where they work and live.  The East of England Ambulance Service is proud of this joined-up working in Ely - it is developing as an example to others of how the various parts of the community can work together.'
